Dear Members,

You are hereby notified of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Napier Residents Association (NRA) scheduled for 26 June at 18:00, to be held at the Volhou Community Hall.

Agenda:

1. Welcome
2. Minutes of Previous AGM: Review and approval of the minutes from the previous AGM.
3. Introduction of Current Exco: Short intro of current Exco.
4. Chairman’s Report: Presentation of the annual report by the Chairman.
5. Financial Statement: Review and acceptance of the financial statement for the past year.
6. Confirmation of Quorum for voting
7. Voting on membership fee: membership fee for 1 July 2025 30 June 2026.
   • Option 1: R0.00
   • Option 2: R10.00
   • Option 3: R50.00
8. Election of Committee: Election of committee members for the forthcoming year. Positions on the committee will be elected by the Elected committee.
9. Other Business and questions: Any additional matters for discussion as per the agenda.

Important Notes:

• A quorum for the AGM will be thirty percent of the NRA members present.
• Non-members are welcome to attend but my not be part of the voting process.
• A copy of the current constitution and other information is available on our website www.napierresidents.co.za .

• Nomination Procedure: Candidates for election to the Committee must be nominated in writing, signed by a proposer and a seconder. Candidates must accept the nomination in writing. Nominations and acceptances must be lodged with the Secretary (info@napierresidents.co.za) at least five business days before the AGM. Candidates, proposers and seconders must be members of the NRA at the time of election. All candidates must provide a personal statement as specified on the nomination form.

Membership of the NRA is open to all the following who support the NRA’s constitution.

• Natural Persons over the age of 18 who own property in Napier.
• Natural Persons over the age of 18 who are resident within the Napier the municipal defined urban edge for more than 90 days in any calendar year.
• All members must support the NRA’s constitution to maintain their membership.
• A person is only a member while membership fees are fully paid up.
